Hong Kong cinema continues to shine on the international stage, with two of its most iconic filmmakers receiving top honours at this year's Far East Film Festival in Udine, Italy. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Tsui Hark and Sylvia Chang, who were each awarded the Golden Mulberry Award for Lifetime Achievement, recognising their outstanding contributions to the world of cinema.
Our office was proud to return to Udine for the 2025 edition of the Festival and to once again co-host the Hong Kong Night on 30 April. The event welcomed over 200 guests from the film and creative industries and provided a vibrant platform for cultural exchange and collaboration.
We were honoured to support a strong Hong Kong delegation, including celebrated director Tsui Hark, director and actress Sylvia Chang, and filmmakers Philip Yung, Anthony Pun, Oliver Chan, and Jill Leung. They were joined by actors Jo Koo, Hedwig Tam, Natalie Hsu, and Dylan So, highlighting the rich creative talent that defines Hong Kong's film industry.
The Far East Film Festival continues to be a key international platform for Asian cinema, and we are proud to see Hong Kong's creative voices making a lasting impression.
