International Film Festival Rotterdam 2025

HKETO Brussels supported the International Film Festival Rotterdam running from 30 January to 9 February 2025. The festival screened 4 recent Hong Kong productions, which were all Dutch premiere:
1. The Last Dance by Anselm Chan;
2. Possession Street by Jack Lai;
3. Last Song For You by Jill Leung; and
4. Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In by Soi Cheang.

HKETO Brussels organised a networking event for the industry people who learned more on the Hong Kong Government's investments in the creatives industries. The Hong Kong Europe Asia Film Collaboration Funding Scheme is just one of the recent examples where extra funding is injected in the film industry to boost international exchanges.
Hong Kong film directors Anselm Chan, Jack Lai and Jill Leung and actress Michelle Wai attended the Festival and interacted with the audience at the screenings.
