Théâtre de la Feuille presents "Fall and Flow" at Festival d'Avignon OFF 2023

The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Brussels is pleased to support Hong Kong's award-winning physical theatre company, Théâtre de la Feuille, which will give 18 performances of its new work Fall and Flow at the Festival d'Avignon OFF 2023 between 7 and 27 July 2023.

The action-theatre performance takes inspiration from classic Hong Kong wuxia and kung fu films. A mute kung fu hero has been living as a recluse for many years until one day, by chance, he lends his hand to a young stranger who is in need of help – however, little does he know that this small act of kindness will lead to a series of life-threatening consequences. As his peaceful lifeturns upside down, his secretive past begins to unravel, and we learn that perhaps there's more to the picture when it comes to his real identity…

Director Ata WONG Chun Tat created the work in collaboration with action choreographer HE Jingde, a former wushu world champion and original member of Cirque du Soleil's KA.
